About Dora

A counsellor and psychotherapist genuinely in your corner — warm, patient, and free of judgement.

Dora’s practice is built on one simple belief — that everyone deserves to be genuinely heard. Whether you arrive with a clear sense of what’s wrong or just a feeling that something isn’t right, you will be taken seriously, met with care, and given the space to speak at your own pace.

She brings a Master's in Counselling (University of Warmia and Mazury), a UTS Psychology Diploma, and a cross-cultural perspective shaped by raising two children while living and travelling across Poland, Scotland, and Australia. That lived experience — of navigating change, belonging, and the quiet weight of everyday life — informs everything she does. She also offers sessions in Polish for clients who feel more comfortable in their first language.

Approach

Dora’s style is warm, patient, and collaborative. Sessions feel like a conversation — not an assessment. She listens carefully, follows your lead, and helps you make sense of what’s been happening without pushing you toward conclusions you’re not ready for.

Her aim is to help you slow down enough to notice what’s really going on — and gradually move toward a steadier, more grounded version of yourself.

Who she works with

Adults dealing with stress, anxiety, low mood, life transitions, relationship difficulties, or that quiet feeling of being a little lost. You do not need to be in crisis to reach out.

If something has been bothering you — even if it’s hard to name — there is space for you here. Dora also brings a culturally sensitive perspective and a gentle, non-judgmental pace.

Professional background

Dora holds a Master's degree in Counselling from the University of Warmia and Mazury in Poland and a Psychology Diploma from UTS (University of Technology Sydney). She is currently studying toward becoming a clinical psychologist.

She works within a clear ethical framework, practising honestly and within the scope of her training. Sessions are available in both English and Polish.
